DESCRIPTION: A leafhopper with 3 keels on the scutellum, dark spotted veining on the wings and three short black stripes on the edge of the forewing. Be warned though, this is a variable species with varied wing shading but the trio of aforementioned characteristics are consistent. DISTRIBUTION: Widely distributed throughout the UK. HABITAT: On the leaves of various deciduous tree species. Larvae are found on a variety of grasses. PERIOD: May to July.
